What factors can be affect the result of composting manure?

1. Machine fermentation for manure management

Tank fermentation process is a kind of aerobic composting fermentation process that combines controlled ventilation and regular turning of piles in a long and narrow channel called "tank".

The size of fermentation jubilee is usually L×WH=(60-100) M ×(4-9)m×(1.5-2m), and the upper part of the wall of the groove is assisted with a guide rail, which is convenient for turning the pile machine to walk at the bottom of the groove with an aeration system. High pressure fan is used to ventilate and oxygenate fermentation materials in the tank. Ventilation duct composition.

Trough the manure composting equipment  is to stir the material evenly through mechanical appreciation, promote heat and moisture volatilization and slow displacement of the material in the tank. The walking speed is 0 -- 6m/min, the working width is 3 -- 6m, and the stack height is 1 -- 2m.

2. Strip fermentation

Strip composting process is a common aerobic fermentation system in which raw materials are mixed and piled into strip piles or strips, and decomposed under aerobic conditions.

Heap shape. The width of the bottom of the pile should be controlled between 120-300cmz, which is about 20Ccm, and the height of the pile should be controlled between 8O-200cm, which is about 120cm. The length is unlimited. The spacing of each stack is about 80-100cm. The main technical parameters of the main equipment are allowable stacking height 20cm, stacking width 300cm, forward/backward speed can reach 5-15m/min, the production capacity is not less than 600m3/h



3. Composting process control

① Temperature control. The fermentation temperature of the reactor should be controlled at 50-60 ℃. When the temperature of the reactor exceeds 60℃, it is the best time to use fertilizer equipment for composting manure. One fermentation should keep the temperature above 5O for 5-10 days. 

② Water control. Maintaining proper water content is the first condition to promote microbial activity and compost fermentation. Generally, the amount of compost material is 60% - 75% of mercury. With the decrease of moisture content in compost fermentation, the moisture content should be 36%-45% at the end of one fermentation.

Reactor oxygen concentration. Keep the proper air in the reactor, which is conducive to the reproduction and activity of aerophile microorganisms, and promote the decomposition of organic matter. When composting at high temperature, attention should be paid to the appropriate tightness of the accumulation to facilitate ventilation. The oxygen concentration in the reactor is kept above 3% by tilting operation or forced ventilation.

③C/N ratio. The c/N ratio of normal decomposition of organic matter by microorganisms is 25∶1. The c/N ratio of legume green fertilizer was 15 -- 25∶1, that of weeds was 25 -- 45∶ 1. And that of grass stems was 50 -- 100∶1. Therefore, according to the types of compost materials, appropriate amount of substances with high nitrogen content are added to reduce the ratio of carbon to nitrogen and promote foot microbial activities.

④ Keep neutral or slightly alkaline environment. Lime or calcareous soil can be added to neutralize acidity and promote microbial reproduction and activity.
