How to make granular fertilizer in your fertilizer plant?

As we all know, granular fertilizer is easier to store and transport than powdered fertilizer. Therefore, most fertilizer manufacturers choose to produce granular fertilizer. The granulation process of the fertilizer granulator is as follows:

(1) Crush

Crush the material after 1 day of fermentation. Dry, crush and screen fermented organic matter.

(2) Formula and mixing

According to the formula, automatically prepare and mix nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and fermentation materials, and transport them to the fertilizer granulator for granulation. According to the formula of mixing organic and inorganic materials according to different products, and fully mixing in the mixer.

(3) granulation

The production of biological fertilizers is mainly organic matter, with a lot of cellulose and poor molding conditions. And because of the addition of live bacteria that can make fertilizer, the production process should not be exposed to high temperatures. Therefore, for the production of organic and biological fertilizers, a new type of fertilizer granulator and wet granulation process are used. After granulation, the material is sent to the dryer for drying through a belt conveyor. The particle size is 3.0-4.0mm, and the granulation rate is greater than 70%.



(4) dry

In the production process of biological fertilizer, not only does the water content of the particles generally exceed the target, which requires low-temperature spray drying and other means, but also the water content of the organic matter after fermentation is 30%-40%, and the particles are generally 15%-20%. The quality index requires that the water content is less than 14%, so the material needs to be dried. Therefore, the drying part is an indispensable process in the production of biological fertilizers, which directly affects yield, quality and energy consumption. It is very important to choose the model and specifications of the dryer and control the process conditions.



(5) cooling

The dried material will be transferred to the cooling machine to be cooled by belt conveyor. The cooling process mainly uses a blower to send natural air into the cooler to cool the material through a pipe.

The cooling material will be transferred to the screening machine for screening: the crushed large-particle materials and the sieved powder will be returned to the granulator through the return conveyor to re-granulate, and the qualified fertilizer particles will be transported to the automatic packaging system for packaging.
